94 LS400 Power Steering
I have recently been having problems with my 94 LS power steering. I replaced the pump and the vacuum switch (on the side of the pump). The pump is still "growling" at cold temperatures and low speeds. The noise reduces when warm. The fluid is also continuing to "foam" up and overflow the reservoir. Is this an indication I still have air in the system? Maybe a bad rack? Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

On your LS you have a filter that is in the rack, get it replaced ASAP, it is blocked and causing the fluid to flow up and spew out. Also have the system completely bled. www.autozone.com has the part that you want and they are cheap too. order the rack filter and you should be fine.

I have been unable to locate a replacement power steering fluid filter for the LS400! Even the Lexus dealer parts guy doesn't list a filter. Any suggestions on where I can find a filter?
