Just did the muffler delete mod...
I am probably the worse DIY'er here on the forum, and I did this mod in about 20 minutes flat. The hardest part was removing one of the rubber rings on each side.
It's surprisingly quiet, so I am thinking about removing the resonators as well, and throwin some straight through muffs in there...
Does anyone here have the quad exhaust tips (two per side) on their LS? I really want some good looking tips....

Bout a million. Maybe two!
despite the way it looks, I went ahead and did it yesterday myself. I don't like the exhaust just hanging there of course, I'll have to do something different with it, but for now it does sound a lot better. No difference whatsoever driving though, its just somebody's 'butt-dyno' getting the best of them when they say the car's going faster. I've opened up my intake too, so I sort of expected a difference. Still, I found the sound I want!
