Default Ball joints replaced

Changed the ball joints on my 95 LS. I had a noise that sounded like it was coming thru the floor and was advised by members on here to replace the balljoints. Well I did and all is fine...no more noise...smooth over bumps.
Thanks guys.

Max - I had pretty terrible inner tire wear when my lowers were bad. Pretty embarassed that I never noticed it ahead of time! Since I replaced the lowers and my front tires last November everything is fixed - no clunks and no abnormal tire wear. Did you see and tire wear bro?

Also I still have OEM upper CA's after 179,000 miles Alignment and wear patterns are all normal - no vibration, thumps, etc.

I can't say I noticed abnormal wear on the tires. The problem I was having is a lot of noise when going over imperfections in the road.
I plan on replacing the control arms and struts end of summer.

Interesting. I was getting the thump going over bumps - turned out to NOT be the strut bar but the lowers. My right side lower was the worst.

I would like to change my uppers as well - I will do it myself as it is not hard. Too bad Daizen doesn't make upgraded uppers. I bet they are stiffer and provide a better ride than OEM.

Do they make lowers for a 99? I have clunking and some suspension noises, esp from the front right of the car, and I'm not exactly sure if it's the ball joints, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, or what. Either way, I'd like to go with aftermarket upgraded parts if there is something better than OEM available without any disadvantages.

stiff balljoints = stiff ride, esp. if u put poly into the control arms too.

I hear you bro I do not believe the Daizen's are out. Too bad as there are plenty of folks here that would ****** them up. Pure is right, there are upgraded CA bushings available that will really make a difference. I am thinking that will my next upgrade as it only requires (4) bushings. My only problem is high mileage and I would be better off with a full OEM replace ment to get the new upper ball joint (with OEM bushings). If you find any ideas on upgrades bro let us know - 95 to 00 shuld be universal.
