Sha, further to your explanation of where this charcoal cannister out-line is supposed to be connected (part 77770)...From my pics below, Im seeing this tank assembly has a drain hole... Is this normal ? From your explanation it seems that this tank is supposed to be sealed. Can you confirm whether or not this hole is supposed to be there ?

I was flushing my radiator and when under my 1996 Celsior (UCF21-1UZFE) I noticed that I had a line clogged off, when searching this line, it seemed to led to my Charcoal Cannister . From the pic below, is this line supposed to be clogged off ? Further more, How can one confirm that this Charcoal Cannister is working ? Could a faulty charcoal cannister be causative to the problem being identified in my mother thread ? https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...s-to-half.html
YES IT WAS CAUSATIVE TO THE PROBLEM IDENTIFIED IN POST#1 OF THE MOTHER-THREAD!!!

Your welcome Matt just glad to help where I can. I really don't know much about that particular system but I have one of those tank assemblies on order since it's supposed to be attached to the lower wind guide.

How can we be guided as to how much gas being excreted from the drain hole of (part 77770) the tank assembly is enough ? It seems that mine excretes alot when parked up in the day with temperature around 29 deg. Celsius.
Is it Gas and water vapor that is being excreted? It surely smells like gas.
How and when do we know when to change our Charcoal Cannister ?

Can anyone inform me whether this amount of gas / water vapour is supposed to be leaking from the line-out of my Charcoal Cannister ?

The vapour should be excreted to the intake manifold through the valve which is controlled by the ECU to prevent the air pollution.
If the system doesn't work so and the vapour is excreted to the air, your canister or the ECU is not working OK.

thanks. I know that the schematic diagram sha provided states that this line should go into the assembly... But I just dont think that I should be loosing so much gas through excretion ...Has anyone ever have this problem with a faulty charcoal cannister?

Charcoal canisters don't "usually" go bad from what I have read about them. You have to take into account that the previous owner most likely plugged that line with that bolt for this exact reason that your having now. I would either remove the canister and run the checks in the PDF from the first page or find another one in the junkyard and switch it out. Maybe the check valve is malfunctioning. I don't even have that hose plugged into my lower wind guide since it's not on the car but the hose is always dry.

Therefore, wt you're saying is that the Line-Out of your Charcoal Cannister isnt connected to anything, and further, isn't connected to any return Line into the engine or fuel tank? Its there, just hanging and not leaking ?
Sha, wt you're saying makes sense, the check-valve in my Cannister may very well be Malfunctioning !
Please provide me with a part number for a Charcoal Cannister.
WOULD THIS P/N BE CORRECT 77740-24031 ???
Im eager to see how much this saves me on my fuel bill !

I believe that hose is called the vent line from the description in the pdf.

Do you know about this ?.. I need your help
Do you only have P0450?
If only P0450, the highest possibility would be the vapour pressure sensor and the related wires and connectors but the ECU also affects it. Is your ECU re-capped?
