Default Deleting side mirrors

Hi guys. I'm installing fender mirrors and want some ideas from you. I need some form of delete plate for the door mirrors Was just going to use a plate of black acrylic but any other ideas?

Any carbon fiber exterior accents, carbon fiber. Acrylic does have very good properties regarding UV and exposure. Getting the thickness desired is pretty easy and not costly either.

Yeah I figured as much. I think the trick will be matching any radius or curve. Fingers crossed its relatively flat.

So how will those fender mirrors work when you have to lean over the fender to work in the engine compartment?
