Did a tune up car wil not start
Hi I just bought a 92 LS400. I did a tune up on it with new plugs and wires not the car cranks but will not run.
I know I have the wires correct. I tested the coils and one of the is not giving spark. I bought a new one and still no spark. Any Ideas on what the problem could be.
Tnx for the help.

Yep also check your gounds for the eltrical firing system. Im not to familar with the LS motor and setup yet. But junk grounds can cause problomes. Or the plug could be fouled, plug wire bad, good luck

Check distributor cap - maybe it has damaged graphit/metal element which is touched by 'finger' ?
It is no so easy to access it - but I have 'photo story" how to remove it. If you need just send mail to me.

You should reverse what you just did. But do it in steps.
Put back your stock wires one by one and see if it cranks for you.
If the car fires up with your stock wires, then you already found your problem!

I know thw wires are in corect spots.
The coil on the right hand side looking from the fron tof the car is not giving spark.
I tested it and its not working for sure. The coil is good I moved it to the other spot and it works fine. Igniters are fine also.

follow the power cable and test for power until you get a signal.... from the sound of it, you have ground which means you lost the signal, your getting a signal from the ecu (the other coil is firing) so you prolly just snagged the wire so follow it and hopefully you can find the problem. good luck
