Hello,

Today I was getting into my car. Usually, it make 2 beeping noise when unlocking and 1 beeping when locking (as everybody knows this already), anyways today the beeping nosie didn't come on. It has not come on ever since. How did this happen? Is there anything I can do to bring back that beeping sound. Or do I have to take it to the dealership? Please help.

Mine is a 95' LS.

Check your manual. There is a button underneath the steering column that turns off that sound. Maybe someone turned it off.

i have pushed it and its worked for me, i was asking where in the manual it describes its "official" purpose.

I think the newer models beep louder than the older ones. I parked beside a new LX470 and he locked his and I locked mine, his was noticably louder than mine, and he was a space down.
