Red face LS400 Radio Nak problem help

Hello Gang,

Was looking to see if anyone has had this problem and if you would know a fix or not,
When I adjust the volume on the Nak radio, (have a 95Ls400)it seems to die out have a
fade in and out problem, anytime I turn the volume past the halfway point it just sounds
like a amp or speaker has been blown, anyone know what the symptoms would be when your
radio is going out? sounds really annoying, could it be the battery alt, etc. any suggestions

sounds like an amp. Check your connections though to be sure.

*NOTE - For Nakamichi, intermittent speaker output, loose of volume to some speakers? Our local dealership says there is an equalization unit located behind the glove box in need of repair, we have never seen or found one! What are they talking about? We have seen this to be a stereo or amplifier problem.

Most likely it's either the head unit or the amp which is mounted under the front passenger seat.

Check http://elliottelectronics.com/ They just fixed my '96 LS400 Radio after checking the Amp and finding nothing wrong. They are fast, reasonable and very nice to work with! Super service!

Question simular problem with fade.

I have noticed that my Sc400 pioneer radio fades the volume lower and loses some fidelity upon acceleration. However once i am at a stop light or still the radio regains volume and the fidelity of the system becomes much better and clearer. Anyone else with this issue at all?
