body kit
hey guys
Im in the market for a body kit for my LS. I've narrowed it down to two choices: either the vizage or the evolution. The evolution looks pretty clean but at the same time its VERY tame when compared to the vizage. Which kit would u guys choose between the two??
Heres the evolution...

Its a no brainer, Evolution all the way.
I thinkg 99.9% will have it that way. In fact that is my Scan of the Evolution Kit you have

Go with the "Yellow Submarine One"
"We all live in a yellow submarine......yellow submarine...... yellow submarine.

You need to choose what you like best..........dont worry about what others think......... If you like the wide body VIPstyle go for it. I like it, I dont care for the wing.

Out of your choices, I really recommend going with the Evolution. Blister (wide-body) kits are usually not my thing, but if you choose to go with one, I would look somewhere else other than Vizage. I would look at something such as Admiration or Exclusive.
Here's a picture of the Exclusive V3 Wide body kit.
Also, keep in mind that the installation of a wide-body kit will be vastly greater than that of a "normal" and straight-foward body kit.
Good luck with your choice.

thanks guys.. i do like that kit you showed me LS400. Its pretty clean. See my main thing is i dont want to get a kit thats gonna make my car look like a ricer. Im so against ricers and if I make my own car look like one then I would be the biggest hypocrite around.. I love the vizage kit minus the hideous "wing". That wing just ruins the look of the car. Atleast its not as bad as some of the wings I've seen on a LS400. lol i dont know what some LS owners are thinking... they totally ruin the look of the car. The point of a body kit is to enhance the cars looks and make it seem more aggressive. Some owners, however, take this concept TOOOOO far. Ive seen so many pics of LS's in which i could swear its some honda or somethin. On one car the exhaust shot out a good 8 inches or so. If you wanna get attention thats certainly the way to go... but the attention you get is all negative. The most absurd thing Ive ever seen is a LS with a ... get this guys... a HONDA CIVIC rear end conversion!!!!!!! A HONDA CIVIC!!!!! I mean if you wanna spend all that money gettin a rear end conversion atleast get it converted to a good car. Instead of getting that rear end conversion I bet that guy could have gotten a civic for the same price. Believe me guys.. when I saw this car on the freeway I felt like crying. It had this UGLYYYYYYY purple paint job, a homemade looking body kit and a sticker that said VIP on it... I really doubt that even the guys in Japan would do something as drastic as putting a civic rear on a LS.
To all LS owners:
You have a LUXURY car. PLEASE DONT MAKE IT LOOK LIKE TRASH AND EMBARASS YOUR FELLOW LEXUS OWNERS. IF YOU WANNA GO ALL OUT THEN GET A CIVIC OR AN INTEGRA!!!
lol sorry bout that.. newayz does anyone know of an importer of the evolution kit?

Like some members said, it's all up to you, but remember if you go wide body you need wider rims and they aren't cheap. I like the Evo kit, but that Vizgate is just a little weird in my opinion. You should check out some Japanese Magazines or web sites for other body kit choices, there are over 50 nice looking bodykits from Japan. Just keep us updated on what you decide.
