how to reset memory
I wanted to know if there's a way to erase the memory for the transmission on the 93LS.
I've read that the car has electronic memory in the transmission to keep track of when to shift. Looks like the previous owner drove it mildly and now the gears shift too early without going on 3 plus rpm. I wanted to erase the memory and make it learn my driving style.
any suggestions ?
thanks

would disconnecting the battery have the same effect ?
if so how long do I need to keep the battery disconnected for ? If this won't work then I'll pull the fuse out. But is there any specific way of doing so ? keeping the car OFF while doing so and for how long will the fuse need to be out of the socket ? How would I know that the reset has worked ?
thanks.
