Here's another vote for the Conti 06 DWS. Had the prior gen on my '05 STS V8, the regular old DWS when I bought it. Liked them so much, I put them on, again, when I needed tires, then went with DWS v2.0 for the third set I'd experienced on that car.
Quiet, remarkably grippy, not harsh, and they rock in the rain. Also, good life out of them.
They'll go on my 'new' LS when the time comes, but I think the Pirellis on there have probably 20K left in them...which is fine.
