Rock Auto has Timken units for $200; and they are silky smoothe. The factory bearings have more resistantance

Hellz yes, I was looking at $65 + shipping per on carparts.com, hahaha. You just lowered my budget by over 33%.

Thanks for the link road frog - like you i like to do all the work myself on the car but luckily they failed when i was under my warranty. I didn't look into the parts too much as it was all covered by Lexus. Great info for future.
