Speaker grill removal
I have an '08 LS 460 and have noticed that the "C" pillar (rear most speaker) grill is stained. I purchased some speaker grill cloth and wish to replace the stained cloth. My question is: Does the trim panel have to be removed in order to remove the grill or is the grill, itself, removable? I am obviously hoping for the later, just don't want to go at it and find out the hard way that the entire trim piece must be removed!
Thanks in advance!!

yes.. you start by removing the rear door sill plate.. then the side trim plate that runs up the side to the C pillar trim.. then pull out the door molding..now u can get access to the C pillar trim..pull it away from the metal frame towards the center of the rear deck (starting from the top) it's held in by plastic clips. once all the clips are free lift the lower front edge up an forward..

fyi depending on your rear seat pkg.. the lower rear seat may need to come out.. estimate 20 mins per side.. up to 1 hr...make to clean your hands before touching the C pillar it attracts an holds dirt like a magnet...
