WeatherTech Floor Liners

It would be easy for them to do, they sell the mat for the older 460s they just need to change their locking mechanism. They use that lock for other products...

They were almost identical in quality to the WeatherTech mats. Back when the unintended acceleration BS was going on, my dealer tried to take them! I had to raise hell to get them to give them back to me since they were my property.
Separately, the timing of your installation is impeccable if I'm reading the weather forecast correctly .

Thanks for the support and stay dry bud!
I've requested multiple times!

Yep, here is a picture of the older all weather mats, I had these for my 2003 ES and 2004 LS:

Yes indeed! We are screwed.

Quality wise there is no comparison, I've had both. The WeatherTech mats are thicker material, they have deeper grooves, they cover more, they cover the dead pedal. The only reason I bought these was because the WeatherTech mat didn't come for the 13+ 460.
The OEM Lexus mats may look a little prettier, but they're less functional.

My experience is from seeing a co-worker's floor liners that he's had for a number of years. While they may have been nice at the beginning, at this point the materials feel hard and have lots of lot of their elasticity. This makes it feel like they are some plastic tubs in the foot wells rather than actual mats.
I also concur with you regarding the liners. We have them on the LX, and they have not held up all that well. They weren't even that great to begin with... The curvature of the LX floor doesn't lend itself well for them, and thus, they don't even do too good a job holding slush.

I just bought a set of weathertech floor liner for my fsport awd. I didn't like the oem mats because the material isn't as thick compare to the old one I had in my 09 ls. For anyone that might be interested in a set of weathertech mats or liner this website is the cheapest I found.

SW15LS, I like your OEM rubber mats. Do the rears also say "Lexus LS" like the fronts do? Will these fit an LS430? I have seen posts that some of the LS460 WeatherTech floor mats fit the LS430, hoping yours will too. Thank you.

They won't fit the LS430.

Bought mine direct from weathertech. I could not find the rear ones with over the hump protect. Just for the floors. Does yours have the hump protect?

Put them in tonight. They're okay, I would have preferred the WeatherTech mats but they don't make them for the 13+ LS, only the liners. I don't care for the liners.
Lexus used to have great all weather mats, but after the unintended acceleration fiasco they made them flat and kinda stupid. They actually are shorter than the carpeted mats for the driver and don't cover up under the brake pedal like they do..
I put them in instead of the carpet mats. I swap them back for carpet in the spring.
Your mats were from the earlier model is my guess. Here are some pics:
