Anyone tried the Pirelli CINTURATO P7?
The Pirelli CINTURATO P7 is the rave on tire rack. #1 tire for grand touring. Supposedly super quiet. I read the reviews there but no 460's have tried them. Has anyone here tried them? Can you compare them to what you had before? Currently on my third set of Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 and need new ones.
FYI - I searched and didn't find any posts.

I think the reason there are no LS460 reviews is that these tires have only recently been available in our size (235/50 18). I know when I bought my last set they were not available.
I can tell you I had the P Zero Nero tires on my car and they were excellent for wet roads. For my last set I tried the Conti PureContact EcoPlus. It's a good tire, but I'm definitely going back to Pirelli for my next set.
I look forward to reading your review of the Cinturatos by that time!

Well we shall see how good they are. Ordered at set of 245/45R19's today that will go on my 2010 LS 460L. They should be here by Tuesday. Will be taking another run up to NE next Friday so will get a quick 1100-1200 miles road test with them.

I too is interested in Pirelli CINTURATO P7 on my LS however couldn't find reviews from LS owners. Then I had a need to replace tires for my ES, so choose to go with Pirelli CINTURATO P7 (but of cause with different size) as a test run for LS.
Installed about 2 months back and have 3000 miles on it. Initial experience so far has been positive. I can feel the rolling resistance being low or almost never there!. During rainy days, wet traction is excellent. I am not able to comment on road noise - may be slightly better, can't say for sure. This replaced set of Good year Assurance Touring. They are good tires too. In fact on the previous set (not the last one) Assurance Tripled tires, I got 99k miles!. It was still going but didn't want to take chance and replaced it.
Even though the tires are good, I didn't like the look of it . They are not black and the tire contour is not as sharp as other tires I have used/seen.
Looking forward to DJWLDW's review with LS.

They look better in lower profile applications IMHO. My old 03 ES is still in the family and it has them on it in the same size and aspect ratio as the ES300 posted above, and they're kinda ugly. They do look better dressed.

2 LS Reviews
I found 2 reviews for LS's. One was on a 2010 LS460 RWD and was in AL. He loved the tires but said the wear was not good. After 10k he was down to 3/32 and 4/32 depending where he measured but loved them otherwise. The other guy was in MN and had them on a 2000 LS400 RWD and he loved them, said great in the snow even on hills. I wish you could track them by size on the tire rack page not just by brand and type. Most of the folks who were not happy with the wear were driving Lexus's? I wonder what that is all about?

If you're wondering what they look like on an LS460:

I have the 19" rims (245-45-19), if that qualifies as a low profile tire. The tire looks good, not certain why it has the lighter grayish look opposed to just black. Maybe it's just the picture-I hope using a dresser will darken them. I see the sidewall is more rounded, which would account for a smoother ride. Well, if Mercedes-Benz uses them and they have great reviews on tire rack, I'll give them a try. My goal is to maximize and compliment the car's ability to have the smoothest and quietest ride. It would be nice to see updates from members who have purchased these tires.

Short 6 mile drive home from installers. They balanced up with minimal weight. All 4 tires had the same DOT date of the 17th week of 2015. The short ride felt good, no vibrations. Really cannot report on road noise yet as I did not get up over 45-50 MPH. A softer ride then the Goodyear Eagle RS-A2's that came off. The Goodyear tires were what was on it when we bought the car. I figure we got between 27,XXX and 30,XXX miles out of the Goodyear Eagle RS-A2's
