Help me better understand this.
The 2007 is believed to have the worst track record w suspension issues so my question is does this fix supersede the problematic 07 parts with a better solution? Less costly is also nice.

My concern here is not to fall into the trap of reinstalling problem plagued parts.

Thanks for the link. I'm looking at getting a '07 460L with air suspension. Do you know if all the control arms the same as your 460?

Yes the newer parts have been rectified. Although you are more likely to have a control arm issue then say one that has revised control arms it doesn't mean that you will be destine for premature replacement.
There are many here that have gone over 100k miles without having control arm issues.
