Redesign the LS 460
If Lexus were to redesign the LS to look more like a bigger new GS or a biger new IS they would make a killing. I love the interior they just need to make the exterior fit with their new bodies. Mercedes Benz has revamped that CLS and it is one awesome car.

2007-2009 LS is one of the most beautiful car designs out there...not sure they'll be able to top that one anytime soon.
GS & IS designs are far inferior, imo

LS-F sport is the most beautiful car I ever met. I would say it looks better than the previous year models, but that just for the F-sport. GS Fsport on the other hand, is the opposite, I think exterior was better from the previous models, especially the rear end, its just bland and un intriguing

07 - 08 LS is well sculptured and a beautiful design automobile. My favorite LS model. I'm not as impressed with the 2013 design and looking forward to seeing the next LS design.

I personally wouldn't buy the LS if it looked like an IS or GS. I don't want it to look like that. I want it to look like an LS. Top of the line, big old car. That's what I want. I don't want a version for the track either.
I want the most luxurious, comfortable car Lexus can make. The next LS better be a huge step up or they are going to bleed even more customers. The new S class must be taking a huge chunk of that already.

Although the current series LS is not all that bad to look at, I could see Lexus goin retro with the next LS styling. Maybe add back the stately and royal elements of the orignal 400, 04-06 430, and a hint of RR Phantom but add a regal, updated version of the spindle. L-finesse should be left to the rest of the line-up but the LS needs to sit at the top with it's own unique bodywork as it did before 2007.

You know it is all subjective and I know others love the design, but I hate the spindle look on the LS. To me the front just looks massive. In my opinion it is just too large of a car for that design. It looks fine on the IS and GS. I will not buy a new LS if they insist on keeping that spindle look, unless I can refit it with my current grille and bumper.

I'm not a big fan of the current look of the LS, to me it looks just like the ES, which isn't a bad thing, but I don't want an 80k car looking almost exactly like an entry level car. I can hardly tell the difference between the two, which is why I wouldn't mind owning the new ES 350...beautiful interior, shares the Avalon base, has a very very reliable drivetrain, takes regular fuel, gets 31 mpg on the highway and looks like the LS 460. Performance wise it's not bad either, plus I won't have to worry about driving it in the snow (my current LS is rear wheel drive).

I also don't like the current LS design. That's why I didn't upgrade. The '07-'09 models do look much better in my opinion. I don't see many on the streets, but when I see one far away on the rear view mirror, it looks wide and somewhat different from all other Lexus models. The tail lights look better as well than the current model, because they make the back of the car have more stance.
I think the new S class Mercedes are super nice, and if Lexus would get some design clues from Jaguar that would help too.
I'm waiting for an all new killer LS design in order to upgrade. I *never* thought about the LS prior to the 460. LS-430s were horrible looking boxy cars for me, and still are, so I never cared about the LS prior to the 460.
If they cookie-cut designs across the model line like they're doing right now, and don't give the LS an unique design, above the herd, I won't be buying another one. I'll probably go S class, preferably S600 (gotta love the V12 engines).

I really loved the look of my LS430. Every time I walked to it in a parking lot I smiled. I was even a bit sad as I said goodbye for the last time. However, as I sat in my 08 LS460, I pressed the pedal and never looked back. Now, I beam every time I walk to my car. It's just a classic body and the black interior with over sized screen just "melts my butter!".
