Rear seat Ent center
I have done google searches, searched this forum, read through every part of the manual to try to answer this simple question that I cannot find the answer to.
What is the trick to playing a movie in the rear roof mounted DVD system AND playing SAT or FM in the front. Once I get my daughters movie cued up, I then select SAT on the touch screen, her movie stops and the SAT radio turns on her headphones.
My process I'm using...
Insert DVD in the dash DVD/CD changer
Cue it up from the front DVD controls
Select Display and turn on rear TV, TV drops down from roof
She puts her headphones on and all is good...with her, happy kid...Frozen is playing!
I then select SAT and the music plays through the speakers.
AND
The TV in the rear turns blue, movie stops, SAT radio starts playing through her headphones.
NOW
Unhappy kid!
Is there a simple trick?

In my car when the DVD starts playing (in the rear player however), i just hit the "power" button on the sound system up front to turn the noise off from the DVD once the head phones are on and working.
Then i just hit the power button again or the am/fm button and i'm good to go, listening to whatever i want.

Great Video! Explains it perfectly from the back seat!
As you can see, he's sitting in the back seat. If your in the front seat, once your DVD is queued up, all you have to do is turn the audio off by pushing the volume button. Turn it back on...voila, front is now separated from the rear.
I guess there's multiple ways to accomplish this.
I have a 6 yr old girl, she's just MASHIN' buttons back there. I'll be stopping every 5 miles to fix it!

That is what has been playing in my car the past week as well. Unfortunately my 5 and 4 year old don't like the headphones and they don't really fit that great so I am stuck listening to the movie. As for the button mashing, I keep my center armrest up ALL the time. I don't even let them know buttons are there. If I do their greasy little fingers will just be mashing them just for the sake of mashing them. When I am back their messing with the buttons and they see them they ask what they are for and I just use the Jedi mind trick and say there are no buttons here.
