CPO question
I have bought my 2008 LS 460 certified and I'm sure have the window noise issue and would like to take it to the dealer to get it fixed.
My questions is would the dealer know readily that my car is certified or should i mention that it is certified and provide documentation to prove it?

Suggestion: Try the "Jeff McRaney Wind Noise Fix" FIRST

You have no worries. However, please know that "CPO" does NOT cover every item.
It is best to phone your Service Adviser first and ask away, so you won't walk into any unpleasant experiences ($$$).
Good Luck ........ However, regarding your particulat issue: You would FAR BETTER served if you tried the "Jeff McRaney Wind Noise Fix" FIRST ! It worked and the directions could not be clearer. Lexus does not have a CLUE as to how to address, let alone repair, your problem. Jeff's thread does. Cost is about $10 and takes less than 0.5 hour.
Here's the weblink to Jeff's COMPLETE set of instructions and more:

Lexus has several "Wind Noise" TSBs however none has seemed to provide much improvement and one, the "Crosswind Turbulence" TSB, detracts from the car's appearance, so be sure to avoid that one if your dealer offers it. Most of the reports we see here indicate that the DIY repair is effective for most cars. Mikey100 is right-on with his assessment that Lexus seems to be clueless on this problem and if they "help" you it may make the wind noise worse.
