How to keep the NAV screen on Audio
I just picked up a 2009 LS 460. It's my third LS, but first 460. Does anybody know how to keep the NAV display on audio? It keeps going back to the map. The other day it stayed on the audio screen, and I'm looking for a way to keep the map from coming back. I don't have a destination programmed. Any thoughts?

Another interesting and important feature of our beloved Lexus' Flagship, all extremely well-documented, easy to locate, and TOTALLY explained in the OWNER'S MANUAL !!!!!!!

I've tried the owner's manual and I can't figure out where the Autoplay feature is - does anyone know? I've sat for hours with the darn book on my lap and all it does is sit there and look back at me. What do I do to get it to start talking?

Yes, Jeff <Smart-A** ....... LOL>
Ya see I do a fair amount - OK ! A LOT ! - of my time "fishing" ... and not very much time "Catching."
So I can afford to while away my time reading useless items like a Lexus Owner's Manual.
Plus I was told that to keep your Lexus' CPO Warranty in effect you have to be tested every year about your LS !@ And I didn't wanna fail !!!!

Even in the manual index there is no listing for screen settings. And the info button does not have an option for screen settings like in some years.
Also my remote will not roll down the windows. And my manual does not say it will.
So that is why we ask questions. There is a difference between years and some of the things are not easy to find and well documented.

Yours seems to be a 2011 LS460. For that car the "Auto Screen Change" is accessed by pressing the SETUP hard key in the left hard key cluster, then press the GENERAL soft key on the touch screen and then toggle the AUTO SCREEN CHANGE soft key on the touch screen to the desired setting and press SAVE. When AUTO SCREEN CHANGE is set to ON the display will automatically return to the map display from the Audio screen or the Air Conditioner screen after 20 seconds.
