Default Question about F-Sport brakes

Hi,
I just purchased my first Lexus! It's an L-Certified 2014 LS 460 F-sport with 37,500 miles. I've driven it about 1300 miles since I bought it. I wasn't searching for the F-sport in particular, but I bought it because of its condition, low miles, and L-certified warranty.

I really like the car. And the F-sport brakes are something else! But I do have a question about them...I want to make sure they're working normally. My issue is this...at low speed, like if you're creeping along in traffic, or waiting your turn at a 4-way stop, the brakes are either on or off! There's no feathering them on lightly! When you touch the pedal, there's nothing...then with just a slight bit of pressure, they're ON. My wife, when she's been with me, hasn't mentioned it, so I don't think it's all that noticeable except to me. At higher speeds, they feel normal. Powerful...yes...very much so...but still, normal.

I read a LOT of brake-related threads, and saw several where they were described as grabby. But I got the impression those owners thought they were that way all the time. I couldn't find any mention of drivers only noticing it a low speeds, like I am.

So, are my brakes acting normally? If so, I'll just get used to it. I do wonder if the PowerStop ceramic pads might be a bit less powerful (and therefore lessen this effect somewhat) than the stock pads, and I'm willing to install a set to find out. I drive like a little old lady from Pasadena ;-) So I can live with slightly less overall braking power. But mostly, I just want to know if it is normal, or if I should have the dealer check things out.

I also notice the big Brembo brakes on the sport are very grabby. Also very noisy. Think it's normal on these brakes.

The Power Stop pads eliminate the grabbiness, eliminate the dust, eliminate the squeaking, and are very inexpensive. I've been using them on my Sport and love them.
