91 LS400 to 2007 LS460
Hi I'm moving over here since my beloved 91 LS 400 has been traded in for a 07 LS460. Blue and Beise interior with 84k miles. I was a Volvo dealer mechanic forever so I have LOTS of dealer stories to share. Some good but let's face it the bad ones are way more entertaining. Anyway the new car is a pretty big upgrade for my 91. I hope in time I will be able to let go of the feelings I had for the greatest car I've ever owned by far.

Gratz on the new ride. Yep, I loved my 94 LS400. Probably one, if not, the greatest car of it's time. A friend of mine made me promise to sell it to him when the time was right. His dream came true when I moved to the LS430. Now I'm enjoying my 460. I'm sure you will as well, once you have driven it a month or two. Relax and enjoy!

Congratulations and welcome to our little corner of CL. I agree with the others......"no pics, never happened".
If you're like me, you'll smile every time you set forth in your 460.

I've been studying the (frequently asked questions) thread for a couple days and applying it to my car in my heated garage. It's been freezing and snowing here so it ain't going anywhere. It would have been a lot easier if I had the original window sticker. Low and behold I have self park, soft close doors and trunk, rear executive seating and a lot of extras. I got most everything but radar cruise, air suspension and side window shades. The gizmos are endless. My receipts and Carfax show the valve spring repair, brake modulator, and the front windows were replaced all to the tune of well over 10k under warranty. Nothing else went wrong, just brakes, filters and fluids including a recent tranny flush. All done at a Lexus dealer. I have an appointment for window tinting Monday. Also I went to my dealer and they turned off the pr retracting steering wheel every time you start and stop the car for free. I know a tech there. I hate that and had the switch in my 91 turned off for 16 years. No switch in our cars. Also they gave me a nav book they were glad to get rid of. I didn't get one when I got the car Monday and the main manual just points you to it so many times. It's on the net but I like the book in the car. Now I'm just stoked about self parking this ***** if it ever stops snowing and dries out. Time to eat more turkey.

Kenny, u you stated that u have the rear executive package, but don't have air or side shades ? Rear executive package is the large council I'm the middle making it a 4 seater car. If not, maybe you're is a comfort or comfort plus model.
