Lead Lap
i have 245/40 front and 275/35 rear on my car with 20x10 staggers in the rear and they DO NOT COME CLOSE TO RUBBING WHATSOEVER! I also have all season tires that are not "squared" shape like some tires. They don't know what they are talking about. I have 31 offset wheels which put the wheels a little further out and still no rub. What is the offset of the wheels you are getting, that plays a part. Unless your tires are sticking out past your car, you need 245/40/20 tires..period!
Side note, i was worried at first about rubbing on the inner part of the rear struts, and i have about 4+ inches of clearance between the tire and the strut...also, when the suspension moves, the tires lean in and will clear the outer fender..you have nothing to worry about, seriously!
