Yea your right about that kids nowadays wont take the time to read the guidelines and dos and donts of a forum they rather just use the forum for quick answers instead of doing the research. But hey i guess thats the new generation.

The funniest was on my 3 forum, someone asked how comfortable is it in the back of the coupe? Nobody has ever sat back there since he got the car.....my thought process woulda been to just maybe sit in the back and see.....

Personally if my 06 was totaled today, I'd work hard to find a low mile mint condition replacement LS430 instead of getting something else that was newer. I am admittedly very biased, but imho there is nothing currently available (that is remotely affordable) that is as bulletproof reliable, safe, comfortable, and satisfying to drive as an LS430.
Here in Nor CA, a nice LS offered at a reputable dealer sells quickly. There's clearly a market. The 04-06 dealer prices (for a nice one) haven't dropped below 11-13. The "collectors" are folks that like a big comfortable Lexus for a fraction of the price of anything comparable.
