Sport Suspension cars had special badging on the front fenders if i remember correctly. There is a few detailed threads on here with part numbers from members who upgraded.

Look for the badges on the front fenders, however one of mine came off and I haven't replaced it. One other way is to measure the diameter of the rear sway bar and check that number against the Sport Suspension sway bar.

You can also use your vehicle I D number to look up the original car specs. You may be able to do this at Lexus Drivers, My Lexus.

No badges, probably don't have it. Also not to common on 2006 models

not sure my buddy has my LS but on the door it might say it is standard to have W or I think Z rated tires versus H or V

Also, wouldn't the car have 18" wheels instead of 17"?

Not necessarily. My '02 has 17's and the '05 has 18's. All sport suspensions in the '04 to '06 era have 18's. He has not indicated what year vehicle he's talking about.
