Intermittent heated seat
HI,
I have an '04 LS430 [82,000miles] with hot and cold seats. The driver seat heating failed although the switch light was on but after 30minutes driving the heating came on.
The cooling functions correctly and the passenger seat works as it should.
Given that there is an intermittent electrical connection does anyone have experience to suggest the most likely place to examine first?

Have just driven the car twice for about 20 minutes each trip and no flashing light just a steady green at the seat heating control *****.
Heating failed throughout the first trip and came on after 15 minutes during the second.
I have one of those cheap generic OBD II scanners but a little reluctant to plug it in because I have heard of warning lights coming on just as a result of the scanner.
Also considering getting Toyota Techstream but looking for a old 32bit Windows laptop before downloading that diagnostic facility.
Does anyone know if either of the above would help diagnose my seat problem?
