LED Tail light problems
Hey guys,
I bought this Taillights from Central Pine...
Now after installing them the normal Light (red Top Row) doesn't work anymore...
The strange thing is, when i installed them, i first replaced the left lamp and it was working as you can see here:
After changing the right lamp as well both stoped working...
Same thing on the Trunk lamps...
When i just changed one they work but after changing both they stoped working...
All the other lights (fog, turn, brake, reverse) work properly
Anyone know this problem?
I already searched for a destroyed fuse but i can't find one/don't know where zhe right one should be. And i pluged one stock lamp back in, it didn't starts to light again...
Also there is no Fault displayed on the Tacho...
Can anybody help me pls?
Sorry 4 bad english and greetings from switzerland

Check to verify that you're getting power at the light assembly connection on both circuits (that is, when the brake is applied as well as when the light switch is "On"). If there is power to the connection, then since the lights are LED with different wattage draw, you may need to add an inline resistor with the light assembly connection. Some of these after-market light assemblies warn of that, others don't. Perhaps the seller of the light assembly can either sell you the resistor separately, or can recommend where you can obtain. Check with the seller of the light assembly.

Thank you for your answer!
I think resistors should be the right ones but i will check that...
And i will check the Voltage but i think this is kind of hard because the plug has many pins and i dont know witch are for the normal light... but i will get this
There are some more pics of the tails... maybe somebody remembers them

Those look well-made and have the required in-line resistors. I think you have a blown fuse now. Wires must be crossed up. Study the wiring diagram and use a volt meter. If you have no power now at the connection (since the stock light now doesn't light), you'll have to first replace the blown fuse. Then, determine the correct wiring. Also, carefully check the wiring of the new assemblies to make sure all of the splices and solder joints appear to be good, with no shorting (overlapping).

Check your Owner's Manual. It shows location of several fuse boxes (under hood, driver and passenger side foot well side, and trunk) and the specific purpose of the fuses in each fuse box.

The stop light fuse is in the Driver-side fuse box. It's labelled "STOP".
The tail light fuse is in the engine bay. Look for a small square fuse box near/behind the driver-side headlight. It's labelled "TAIL".

There's one more fuse in the trunk to check. It's labelled "LCE LP", 7.5A fuse. If that is good, you may have to dig deeper with the attached electrical schematic.

If the lights worked by resetting the ECU but without replacing any fuses, then it doesn't appear to be a blown fuse. I'd contact the seller of the light assemblies.

Can you put the existing lights back, reset the ECU, and then see if the lights will stay on? We need to see if the problem is with the new lights, or with the lighting system or ECU.

Good verification test ... he's tried the new lights twice with same result (after ECU reset) - lights flash on then go dark. I just assumed that the old lights will work after ECU reset - they should.

These lights were tested before shipping from our shop in Japan and in good working condition, I'm in the process of trying to find out possible solutions to the issue going on. If nothing can be done a full refund will be given once they are shipped back to me in California, sorry for the inconvenience. .

Hey Sam,
First of all i don't want to talk bad over Central Pine... it's a weird Problem and your support is great!
I just wanted to know if anybody has had same problems or an input that will help.
So once again Thanks 4 your Help you give me on FB, i hope we can make them beauties glow!
What i'm going to try next ist reseting the ECU and put in the original Tails... if they glow the Problem must be on the lamps... maybe a wiring difference between EU and JP or USA models?!
Would love to make them work!
