The factory paint has started to peel on my b pillars on my black 05. It's bothering me quite a bit so time to upgrade. I have read this is a fairly common issue so others will run into this at some point.

Trying to get some opinions. Currently between the junction produce stainless pieces which I would paint or have powdercoated black, the fabulous black carbon fiber overlays or the luxury abstract stitched leather pillar covers in all black.

All seem to be around the 300 dollar range so cost is not main concern. Quality and fitment are top priority.

Opinions?? Anyone running any of these? I think the chrome is tacky looking and not looking for eBay pieces.

Having them repainted professionally will last the longest. Probably look better too.

Not a lot of people know this but under the paint its all chrome. As long as you get the paint off without scratching the chrome it should look good. I personally havnt done this to the b pillar, but i did it to the trunk trim on top of the stock chrome one and polished it. Now it changed the whole look of the rear end. I personally havnt done it to the b pillars but one of mine has a chip and its chrome underneath. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF IT ISNT! lol better be safe then sorry

Yes it is a chrome looking finish underneath. Not the look I'm going for plus I'd be worried about it rusting.
Waiting for luxury abstract to get back to me on a set of admiror or grassor pillars.

id go with the luxury abstract. id look into them, but im unsure of their cost, and how good they hold up, they appear to be a diamond stitched leather type of thing.

Yea I'm gonna go with the luxury abstract pillars. Just waiting on them to respond back
