around the windows? I got a couple of places where the black paint has been chipped, and I am thinking about taking it all off. Any ideas?

Mine's starting to peel/chip off too, I'm content to leave it alone. I guess if you really wanted to, you could carefully cut it off with a razor or use a heat gun.

Would that look good on a Lex??? I don't think I've ever seen chrome pillars on one... would it look cheesey? I'm a fan of the black.

the black pillars on either side of my windshield is starting to peel a bit, but I was thinking of just touching up the missing spots.

i seen the chrome pillar it looks gangsta. but it takes a lot of work to do to what i heard from the vsc forum. someone from Hawaii did it already.

1st gen ls

3rd gen ls

there use to be a picture of the UCF20 that had it on the wald website but now its gone. i was thinkin of pickin up some pillars from the junkyard and work on them. until the chrome looks nice and purdieee. when you peel off the black paint you will see how the metal underneath it wont look chrome.

That will just look tacky if you peel it off. It'll be just as bad as those chrome door handle overlays and chrome wheel well covers.

you can paint the pillars flat or semi-gloss if you want...gotta match the gloss to the stock paint...it's usually semi-gloss...we do it at our shop all the time...

You can by chrome overlays that I believe stick ontop of the pillrs. You can also get Carbon Fibre and so forth. They used to be on eBay but I dont see any at the moment.
