Default How is this possible!!

So I'm out dc clubbing having a good nite, next thing I kno I walk to my car and the tire is dead flat. Luckily I had a full size spare that was my 1st time me actually using. But morale of the story is I didn't get any low tire pressure light before this happend and while the tire was dead flat? Curious to see if I have a dead sensor, taking it to Lexus of silver spring tommorow, hopefully they can give me an answer.

Likely picked up some road debris that caused it to leak out during the time you were away. This happens with fresh rubber on the car with my usual luck.

Someone may have flattened the tire simply because it was a nice car parked in front of a club.

It can easily happen.... you run over a nail/screw on the way and as you dance away the tire slowly leaks. Happened to my MDX, parked in garage and week later, flat from a screw and slow leak.

The "tire pressure" indicator is derived from the wheel tick sensor, NOT a pressure sensor.
It is an indirect measure of pressure in that a tire with lower pressure will have a smaller diameter, and thus will rotate faster for a given ground speed. That generates more ticks than the calibrated value and the indicator is set ON.

Were u in SE? No lie, the best spots out in front of clubs in SE r usually somewhat managed by whatever lucky homeless/crackhead was able to claim that as their territory. If u don't tip them for using said spot this is common. A few years back I parked real close, tipped the man, asked him to keep an eye on it and to clean the rims. My boy got an even better spot on the other side of the club, I casually joked with him about us renting the spots, and he said I didn't tip the guy and infact told him to keep away from my car. I told my friend he better go check on his car. Wouldn't you know his window was smashed and his stock radio din was missing from his dash .

Morale of this story is to be nice to the homeless and tip them if its their parking spot. Who knows ur car might even be cleaner when you come back then it was when u left it

It doesn't have a direct tpms sensor in wheel, but there is a 'sensor' to monitor wheel rotation via the ABS.
