Replacement MAF
For those who have replaced their MAFs, which brand did you use? Advance Auto lists a Denso 197-6030 for $133. I can acquire the Lexus 22104-22010 through Sewell for $131.50. On Amazon, there is a Beck Arnley for $78 and the Denso part number above for $82 plus $5.50 shipping. Any thoughts??
I am considering replacing the MAF. Performed cleaning back in Nov and it improved the stalls during acceleration significantly, but it is still not 100%.

Buy it someplace that allows easy returns. You can put the new one in and check it in 5 minutes. If the new MAF doesn't improve the symptoms, it would be good to be able to return it with minimal hassle.

In the best interests of disclosure...what the hell is an MAF?
Pardon my ignorance. =))
Ok, ok, I couldn't wait so I looked it up. Mass Air Flow According to Wiki here it is:
A mass air flow sensor is used to find out the mass flowrate of air entering a fuel-injected internal combustion engine.

Mass Air Flow Sensor. Just replaced with Beck Arnley model from Amazon. $82 with next day shipping. Worked like a charm. So far, accelerates like it did when I first purchased.
Replaced plugs, TPS, and cleaned throttle body over a year ago. Hesitation on acceleration was still there until I cleaned the MAF with CRC MAF cleaner. Acceleration was greatly improved, but still not totally normal.

Is there a way to test the MAF sensor? I just cleaned mine and also cleaned my filthy throttle body. The car seems to idle a little smoother but a prior light engine knock now seems to be a little worse. I cleaned the MAF with electric parts cleaner.

I cleaned it again, after realizing I need to clean the inside part of the MAF and not just the temp bulb part. Definitely less engine knock now, but still doesn't seem perfect.
