Tilting Mirrors on 03?
Hi everyone, I just became a new owner of an 03 LS430. Was wondering if the side mirrors tilt down when the car is put into reverse. Thanks in advance.

According to Lexus, they are power heated and auto-tilt down in reverse for the '03 model year already. So, if yours do not work that way, either it's not working, or maybe the personal setting was changed on the vehicle to NOT tilt down on reverse.

My 02 has it so yours has to have it. BUT if the switch is not on the left or right side it will not tilt down in reverse. Basically the controls you use to set how you want your mirrors, make sure that switch is not in the middle, make sure its either left or right and it should work. You will know when its not working because if you have your window down and put it in reverse you will probably hear the gear moving but not moving your mirror.
