I have been trying on and off to do it but what I realized was that I needed a hill to defeat the speed limiter. I found my hill tonight on the way home. It was a clear 2 miles then an overpass so I gunned it. Would you know I hit the hill and hit 140mph. When I was back on the flat the speed limiter kept shutting the gas off so I slowed down. Talk about dukes of hazzard. It was a rush indeed. I think I would have gone to jail if a cop got me. Don't worry nobody was around and there were not side streets or or/off ramps where there could be a car or pedestrian. It was me and the open road. I wish I lived close to the desert out west where you have miles of open road and no traffic. I would have a blast.

The car pulled all the way. The car downshifted at 120mph. I wonder what the real top speed of this thing is. Given my "feel" for the car at 140 I think it could max out at 170mph or so on the flat without the limiter.

did you change out your tires before you did this? i hope so, coz' otherwise the all seaon max out at 130mph
