my A/C lost its brain?
This is a good problem to have but I just am more curious and annoyed than anything. But if set my Temp on auto (say 72) my system doesn't seem to care what the current temp is and keeps blowing cold air.
It does adjust the speed (low, mid, high) but even on low it freezes me out and I have to turn it off. Then back on ect... and this can't be good for the compressor?
Is there something specific that may be out (fuse?) that controls this? I just had my LCD/TEMP replaced/fixed by Mikado and everything went back together smooth. So it is a little puzzling.

I got the same issue. Especially in the morning, it seems to have this problem. I know it probably won't turn off, but it doesn't switch from the air blowing in upward vents to the lower vents. I noticed it did that when the heater turned on, it would switch from low, med, high, and it switched from the upper and lower vents. However even when the car is freezing cold (set at 72), it switches from low, med, and high, but the vents never changed. I would assume it would change if it was that cold, but maybe I'm wrong. I never assumed anything was wrong until spxchrome mentioned it now.
