Default are these important?

(disregard the yellow circle, just what the two arrows are pointing to) both times i've taken off the intake piping off of the throttle body for various reasons each one of these snapped off at the base. they don't appear to make a difference in drivability, and there doesn't seem to be any vacuum pressure. my mechanic friend thinks they're just for bleeder valves but i was wondering if anyone had a definitive answer, thanks.

Don't know the function, but it is important that the ports the hoses connect to are closed. If not the engine sucks dirt.

That box is there to dampen pressure waves generated when your intake valves close. It reduces the energy of the air moving backward from the cylinders after the valve closes, which facilitates better air movement forward and into the cylinders. It also makes for quieter engine operation. So yes, you want that working as designed. You can fix those broken plastic pieces by getting brass fittings at your local hardware store and screwing them into the box. As in: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...r-cleaner.html

Large hose is PCV. Small hose at rear is EVAP.

Listen to this guy. Those firings are very fragile from years of heat and cold. I had to fix the front one with a brass fitting and some epoxy.

If that is indeed a PCV hose your engine is not working as it was intended to. There will be no apparent vacuum or pressure coming from it but PCV is entirely necessary for modern engines. If your intake doesn't burn the blowby oil and pressure off it will find other ways out of your engine - namely your rear main seal, valve cover gaskets, timing cover, etc
I wouldn't be as worried about the evap BUUUUT
Fix it asap.
