My LS system, sounds nice and on budget

Those Planets are tube hybrids. Meaning it has a tube preamp and a solid state amp; good low cost tube sound.
I bet that system sounds kickass, however the stock system in any LS (as long as it works right) could beat most aftermarket systems on the market

I never heard the stock as the surrounds were shot when I got the car. The key is the Pioneer deck, multiple adjustments you wouldn't believe!!!!!! Infinite baffle us the only way to go and save your trunk space.

You might be right but to get BT, ipod and a hell of a preamp for the planets I doubt it. Read up on the deck, it was only 260 or so through woofersetc.

JBL and Kicker what more can I say. By the way the speakers show 2 ohms to the amps so that's about 70 watts per channel. The pre outs are 5-6 volts so distortion from that is 0. The amps in this quiet car barely get a workout for serious clean music.
