Removing Air Intake Hose from Throttle Body
hi, guys. i am trying to clean my idle air control valve. i managed to get the air intake hoses off the air filter box and the plastic thingmajig (air cleaner?) that connects to the hose and the two air air hoses that come out of it.
now, the two intake hoses that attach to the metal throttle body itself just will NOT budge. any tips?
i also can't get to the IAC motor because the hoses above them are in the way.
i've yanked pretty hard but it's just not happening. should i cut it and just buy a new one? i'm not even sure a new one is readily available.

ok. i solved the problem. a technician said to run the engine a bit to warm up the parts. i had already disassembled the hoses so i just took a VERY hot towel and wrapped it around the hose then gave it a VERY hard tug.
that did the trick. hope this helps someone else who might have the same trouble.
