Default Rear brake calipers - 430 or 460 bolt up?

Sorry if it's been asked and I couldn't find it but will the rear brake calipers from the LS430 or LS460 directly bolt up to a UCF20?

very unlikely this was asked in the past since it's not common at all.

it is unknown to me for sure if this can be done however i can venture a guess that it will not work unless you shim the bolts and brackets due to a slight size difference.

go to rockauto.com and compare the different generation dimensions. start with the rotors and if they are almost the same size, then you don't have to shim the calipers as much.

Aside from whether LS430 or LS460 rear calipers are plug-and-play bolt-on proposition to a LS400, are there advantages for doing so? Improved design; increased clamping force or decreased mass (lower unsprung weight)?

The 2-GS guys have gone through a variety of scenarios with calipers. Some of their BBK discussions would provide additional info. Bolt up not likely so a custom bracket would need to be fabricated.

Not to mention the rear discs on the 460 are bigger than the fronts on the 400. Oh well...

Clamping force and aesthetics mostly. The weight savings, if any, would probably be negligible at best.
