KeyLess Remote Case for Lexus LS400 1997
I need to replace the KeyLess Remote Case for my 1997 Lexus LS400. The electronics work I just need the cases that I can insert the electronics into. I've searched the web as well as brick & mortar businesses w/o success.

I did find a case from Dorman model # 13614 for Toyota Camry 2002-2006 that works {1st pic}. The problem is the case comes in 2 versions, but still uses the same model # 13614. 1 version comes w/ the correct back plate {pic 2}. The others come w/ the backplate that will not work {pic 3}.
In my area I only found 1 Dorman # 13614 w/ the backplate that works for the Lexus LS400. All of the others are the incorrect backplate.
I've contacted Dorman to obtain the correct case & all they tell me is that Dorman does not make a case for the '97 Lexus LS400. Well, the pkg might state "Toyota Camry 2002-2006", but it works for the '97 Lexus LS400.

The HYQWDT-C is the correct one. Just to note that while some cases do look similar, the internal risers for the electronics can vary a little bit to make them a for ours. I used the shell from another Toyota, HYQ1512Y Avalon-Camry, etc from 1998-2004. That one drops in and fits properly. (I have a variety that were learned the hard way though.)
The GQ43VT14T sounds like the prior owner already replaced the shell. If they modified the PCB, then they may not fit the replacement HYQWDT-C FOB. In this instance, buy the shell with the same FCC ID number.

The Lexus dealer verified I had the original shells.
The toughest part for me is that I can't locate another shell w/ the correct riser. Same part # & shell, just a different riser. Like is shown in the pics I posted earlier.

Just received the units w/ the correct backplate, shown in pic 2 in previous post, from Dorman.
Now I'm all set. When I use this case w/ the rubber cover from an original case I have a working replacement remote.
