Default Wheel setup ideas?

Ok guys.. So as you might have seen on my last post I didn't do my homework correctly.. But we learn from our mistakes right? Wish I ran across this page before I bought my wheels and tires.. (btw anyone want to buy some new wheels and tires?) anyway, I'm looking for a good wheels setup, looking for an agressive look, I'm going to lower it once I get the money, so I'm looking for something that I won't have an issue with once lowered, not a drastic drop, just to where the fender sits a little from the wheel.

Since its such a big car you have two routes in my humble opinion:

18s - need to be wide and low offset to pull it off (the route I went)
19s - fill out the wheel well more thus being able to get away with a higher offset and still look good

Just comes down to how far you wanna go to fit the wheels. You say you want to go aggressive but not have any issues when lowered, you never mention how low you wanna go so its kinda hard to gauge what you mean by that. Either way those terms contradict each other when it comes to fitment, if you go aggressive you will have have to take other measures to make sure nothin rubs/scrapes/etc

Ok so this is what happened, I ordered 18x10 wheels with a 25 offset, before I found this website, I went by a chart for best tire fitment/comfort and wrapped them in 275/45R18 tires, big mistake obviously.. So now I'm on a mission to sell them, luckily they're both brand new and never been driven on so that's a plus. I'm thinking about maybe 19's because I noticed how much room there was once they mounted the wheels even with a XL tire on them, but if it comes down to 18's that's fine too. I probably won't lower it for a few months now since the wheel mount delay, but I plan on going maybe 1.5-2 inch drop, not to where it tucks, but where the fender looks like it's rubbing, I'll probably endup rolling the fenders too. I understand that the fitment won't be smooth to be agressive, I mean easy as in not having to spend an extra 200-300 dollars for spacer adapters before and fender and wheel wall work

For an 18x10, you would have been better off using a 245/40R18. A very light stretch, and it doesn't sit so big on the wheel itself.

Well this is what I did when I first got my car, check out the wheel setup thread at the top of the forum and take note of which cars you like how they sit and after awhile you'll get an idea of what tire size, wheel spec, and how low you want.

To me it seems 19s are the best option for ya, with 18s you'll have to be lower to make the car look good. I'm running 10s on the front with a 215/40 and my coils are just about bottomed out all the way around.
