Default 3UZ Timing belt/Water Pump/Tensioner fit 1UZ?

My friend bought the full timing belt kit (belt, water pump, 3 pulleys) for his 3UZ GS430 but sold the car before he had the chance to fit it all. I have a '98 ls400 and I think the parts are all the same but would like some confirmation from someone who knows for sure?

thanks!

Well, the Aisin timing component kit with the Part # of TKT021 fits the VVTI 1UZFE, the 2UZFE, and also the 3UZFE, so it just might be the same.

whos the manufacturer?

cross check it with the OEM part numbers, but it looks like it is the same!

So for future reference, the part numbers do differ between the UCF20 1UZ and the 3uz-fe (using a gs430 sport as the car). However I x-referenced them and the 3uz water pump, idler pullers, timing belt and tensioners are all backwards compatible.

Not sure I'm gonna fit them as I have a fair few miles left on the current one

I would wait until time to replace the parts and at that time match them up side by side and timing mark to timing mark and pump offset to offset I think they are the same.
