1995 LS400 Struts
I have an LS400 (1995) with 102000 miles. Needs front struts. Any experience with KYB or Bilstein? Kyb run $60 each, Bilstein run $100 each. Bilstein are "heavy duty". Any recommendations?

When I had my 96 LS400 I had the front struts replaced under warranty at about 70,000 miles. The factory price was around $60. I was surprised at how cheap they were. Why do you want stiffer than stock?
As far as changing strut/shock rates I would think that you would want to replace all 4 corners to keep the car balanced.
