Default Check engine light on cause vsc on?

So I have my check engine light on for about a month or so now and it is code p0430. I have not got it fix yet etc because haven't redone my exhaust piping cause it have a leak in it now from scraping. Now today on my way home from work the vsc light is on now, and the red light is on as well as the message check vsc. Could the check engine light on cause the vsc to be on too? Now can the same place I got to read my check engine code check the code for vsc as well in which I got it check at pepboys. Also is there a reset for it beside pulling the negative terminal?

the exhaust leak is likely the cause of the P0430 code - get it sealed up tight and then clear the codes, if it comes back, then the pre-cat O2 sensors would be the next most likely culprit

Yeah I'm sure it likely is as well. It come and go sometimes, now I can hear the leak/rattling more now but just have not got my pipes redone.

Okay so I pulled off my negative terminal and the lights were off for awhile but as soon as the check engine come on the vsc light come on as well. Now I got a new code for the check engine which is p1346, anyone have any idea what it could be or what should I start with? Also got the battery tested and it is at 12.54v with engine off, battery rated at 650 cca but it only measure at 290 cca

Code P1346 indicates a VVT issue. Did you check the VVT actuator lately?
Sometimes skipped timing belt cause this though.

Okay so I have pulled out both of them and wipe them etc and the problem is still there. So I'm thinking my timing belt probably have jump, I got my timing belt done this year about 5-6 moths ago and everything ran fine etc. the first time I got the code read it was for the exhaust leak I got and when I just got it read again yesterday that's when I got the new code p1346 now. Also my battery is low on charge too so I will be replacing that. I will check all the little stuff first before I get into the timing belt again. Now when I do get into the timing belt again I will just have to check if it is align if it is not then re-align it correct? I won't have to replace anything else would I? I bought the aisin kit from eBay, the one with the hydraulic tension. Only thing I will need is coolant if I don't have to replace anything else

I agree with Yamae - P1346 is nearly always jumped time (usually by just a single tooth on driver's side cam), when it's not, it is normally the ECU
