1992 LS 400 unusual engine blips
This is my first post, so hello! This seems like a great Lexus resource and I'm happy the community is here.
I'm new to Lexus ownership and my '92 LS 400 with 188,000 miles has blown me away. It's an awesome car and I want to keep it running.
A new issue cropped up that I'm uncertain about - after starting up, and during the first 15-20 minutes of driving, the engine will intermittently blip at idle, loosing maybe 50-80 RPMs for a second. It's unsettling because it doesn't feel like the air conditioning causing drag or a result of any regular system coming on. After I take her on the highway for a while, come back, and park again, the blipping stops. I've noticed the engine is slightly shakier than normal at idle. When I open the hood at idle, I can see the battery moving back and forth about 1/8th of an inch. I feel like this car was smoother than that just a week ago.
I did a spark plug change about 600 miles ago and the car has run exceptionally until now. I'm also considering replacing the transmission mount(s) to fix a small vibration in the body and the gearshift vibrating back and forth. Anybody have a clue what the engine issue might be?

definitely change the transmission mount, and the two engine mounts as well if you can afford it
the idle blip could be idle air control valve, vacuum leak, ECU caps, dirty throttle body, beginnings of a weak fuel pump, crank position sensor, cam position sensor, coil or other ignition component such as igniter - did you replace wires, caps & rotors at time of spark plug change? - has the car been scanned for DTC codes?
