(New Member) JPanther's LS 400 Pics
Hey fellas,
Just trying to get my feet wet on the lexus forums. I've been modding mazda's and other cars for years, but i just recently picked up a loaded (airbag, h.i.d, wood, etc) LS 400 with 87k on the odometer. Very happy with it, got some plans for it in 2013. Any suggestions/advice from you guys would be great. Here are some pics!

check out the FAQ for all your maintenance questions. mainly you are looking at the timing belt, water pump and associated parts that come along with that. that's the main 90k service, but after that let the modding begin.
i would keep the air suspension myself if it's in good order. it WILL fail eventually so be aware. most guys on here will remove it altogether and replace with either coilovers or shock/spring combination. love the color and cleanliness of your car! not very often you see a white/grey combo (besides mine hehe). welcome!

Thanks for the advice. I'm sticking with air because I'm switching to an air runner system, riding static is not practical for my daily driving, I know from experience. I'll get the maintenance done asap, already switched to synthetic and k&n air filter. Do I have to mod the strut towers to lay frame?

car looks amazing... From what I have heard the stock air suspension is not the good when dumped. I have heard that it rides to soft and bottoms out... but if you have it, slam it. Then get the an aftermarket air ride after to really adjust it.
