No Heat in my 94 LS400....
Its that time of the year again, atleast close.I turn my heat on a couple of days ago in the morning to get a little warmth and to my surprise, there was no heat after five minutes.
I pulled over, checked my coolant level and its exactely where its supposed to be.I drove to work thinking it might kick in but no,nothing.
I cycled the air with no help, its been almost a week now with continious trying with no effect.
What my next move, guys ? The heat in this car has been amazing since I've owned it.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank a lot.

well thermostat is the mostly likely suspect in a vehicle that won't put out adequate heat, heater control valve (part of the A/C system, and typically under the hood) is another prime suspect
a clogged heater core is a 3rd possibility
if the problem is none of these, then it is likely *inside* the car, i.e. a blend door or vacuum line issue
is the engine temp on the dash gauge normal?

there is a thread on here about the cable under the dash getting tangled or coming off the actuator for the heater. you pop it back inplace and heater starts working again. i live in florida so have not checked mine yet. but i believe i have the same problem. i even get warmer air on drivers side then on the passenger side when using the a/c.

If the engine temperature is in the normal middle position it could be the heater flow valve located at the top middle of the engine bay firewall. There may be a black plastic cover over it.
There are 2 rubber hoses connected to it and a control cable.
Feel both hoses when the engine is warmed up and the heater is on hot position and they should both be warm, if not disconnect the control cable and mover the lever it is attached to manually and see if the heater now gets warm.
There have been reported problems with these valves sticking if not used for some time.
