Gonna try and get it to autozone today for a code read.
2 weeks ago CEL came on and major limp mode. Code was P1121 -accelerator pedal position sensor. Lexus said needed entire throttle assembly for $1800. Discovered on this awesome website that a class action lawsuit was covering work. Told Lexus and they fixed the accelerator pedal sensor (funny when I was paying it was the entire throttle assembly for $1800 but when they paid it was the $650 job). Ran fine but next day battery light started flickering then stopped and then next night noticed all tail lights were out. Lexus put in new fuse day before yesterday. Last night massive limp mode again but this time reverse light stays on in drive.
Saw threads on LS 400's having same issues and a broken wire in rear left trunk was the culprit but I have a rear hatch with no external wires - just the cable that connects the body to the hatch.
Any ideas?
Will post if I can get the old girl to autozone to run a code.
