Philips 4300K HID kit on 93 LS (PICTURES!!)
Okay... i was finally able to install and take pictures of my Philips 4300K HID kit on my 93 LS. I lost the fogs for now but hopefully I'll be able to rewire the fogs to the corners so I can have the fogs on with the HIDs. At first I had some trouble so only my left lamp worked. Even then while driving around with only one HID lamp on, it was still brighter than when I had 2 halogens AND 2 fogs on at the same time!! Needless to say, I'm quite pleased with the light output. This upgrade was sooooo worth it since I got it through a groupbuy for only $350....Philips ballasts and Philips bulbs. Anyways, on to the pictures!

And next up we have the ballasts. I was so surprised that they came with the new water-resistant casing. I turned over one of them, you can clearly see the "Philips" mark. If you open up the casing, you see the Philips ballasts... same thing, just with a nice case

now here's where it gets interesting... this is a top shot from the side of the beam pattern. Notice how the beam pattern aint all that great compared to the newer cars with Headlight housing designed for HIDs. Nevertheless, still not too bad.

just for kicks, here's a pic of the HID at warm up...this was approximately after 5 seconds cuz i needed to run in front of the car after turning the lights on haha The coolest thing is to watch the light change from blue to pure white.
