95 LS400 suspension question
Hello fellow CL'ers,
I have tried to find an answer to this question and please be gentle with the replies as i am new here. (I did search for over 2 hours) I have recently purchased a 95 that has the factory A/S. Of course the front struts are shredded to pieces and I am looking into replacing them with the spring struts. My question is... will 93-94 struts work on my car? I run into a problem with shipping as not too many people want to ship struts through the mail to Guam. I found a set through eBay that came from a 93-94 in which the guy is more than willing to send them to me. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated.

They are supposed to be different. You can of course get replacement A/S from e.g. here: http://www.arnottindustries.com/part...id7_pid47.html or get their spring replacement kit, which you find on the top of that page. They come much cheaper than OEM, but still with lifetime guarantee.
The big difference is that these items are either new or overhauled and as new, which may not be the case with whatever you find on *bay. So this is the way I would go with my '95 if my A/S goes.

On a seperate note:
I can only guess the need for four mufflers is to keep the exhaust notes down to a wisper.
