Question Splash / Mud guards/ flaps

I talked to one of the Canadian dealers near Toronto today about buying a set of splash guards for my 1993 LS. Canada gets way more slush/salt/sand in the winter than buffalo does so they put factory splash guards on the LS. I really like the way they look when they are painted to match the car. He said that for a set of factory guards it would be $177 american for a set, unpainted. Does that sound reasonable?

Scratch that price. I called to place the order and it turns out that it was $177 canadian. This is roughly $115 american for a set.

At least this is for a set. I was quoted about that same price for each factory painted splash guard for my LS430. That is close to $500 american for a set! I'd sure like to find a discount dealer in Canada.

The dealer in Canada that I talked to was Lexus of Oakville. They are more than willing to ship to the US. Give them a call they were very cooperative. The guy I talked to laughed when I asked him if the price he originally quoted me was in Canadian dollars.
This is who you should contact:

Default What about late model US LS 430 Mud Flaps?

i've see a few newer cars pictured here with the molded flaps, but I don't see them on anybody's price list. Any idea where one buys these? My dealer says lexus doesn't offer them in the US?

Any thoughts?

Thumbs down all weather rubber floor mats LS430

Another item that Lexus USA does not offer is their all weather rubber floor mats. I have tried to get them in the US with no luck. Even called Lexus USA. They say they cannot get them. So I called Lexus of Oakville, in Canada. They will ship them to me at about $130. Rather expensive, but no other choice. Aftermarket mats just don't fit right. Doesn't seem right that I can't get them in US. Lexus says they are not needed as much as in Canada. lol.
